All the ceremonies of Nikhil and Niharika's wedding were complete. The married couple spent their first night in Nikhil's bedroom. Before the wedding, the bedroom was renovated and now it was the couple's bedroom. I reminisced of the time when I had come home as a new bride, and I too spent my first night in the freshly renovated and refurbished room of my husband.

But my fond memories from over a decade ago were eclipsed by the memories of my liaison with my father-in-law over the last week. I was shocked how quickly it had escalated.
